Alpha Alumina Powders for Sapphire (5N)
Sapphire crystal is an excellent all-purpose material:
characterised by high-temperature resistibility, high thermal
conductivity, infra-red transmittance and chemical stability, it is
widely used in a variety of fields such as industry, military and
research.
Sapphire, the single crystal substrate, is the preferred substrate
for superconductor, LED, and LD (where it requires the GaN epifilm
on the wafer). It is used in the production of the high-temperature
super-conductor Y-line and La-line films, and in the new MgB2 super conductor film as well.
The 5N alpha alumina powders are produced by our independent
technology (hydrolysis of aluminum into aluminum hydroxide with
cholineas catalyst). Given our strict control of raw materials and
of the production process, this product boasts the advantages of
high purity, high density, good batch stability and large batch.
Our product is suitable for large-size sapphire manufacture by the
Kyropoulos, Heat Exchanger, Bridgman and other methods.
Applications:
Mainly used in Sapphire growing, PDP fluorescence materials and
high-performance materials in rubies and sapphires.
